Loved this piece in the Trib yesterday. It’s calling me to start a children’s story telling camp or writing workshop of some type. But would anyone choose writing over fishing or baseball or soccer? I could incorporate art, photography, hikes, and so much more. Parents, please provide some insight. What age would be best? How much time would you and your child be willing to invest? What time of year? What day? What time? I envision so many cool projects, endless mind-expanding opportunities…. Helping young people recognize the power of the pen… I just can’t think of anything more fun or rewarding. How can I make it work? Would love to hear your ideas…..
